Buddy Brew launches coffee collab with Tampa Pig Jig
Pig Jig Roast to raise funds for kidney disease research
TAMPA, FL — In keeping with its “Brew Good, Do Good” mission, Buddy Brew Coffee has launched a limited edition collaboration coffee, Pig Jig Roast, which will support kidney disease research.
Pig Jig Roast is a limited edition partnership with the 10th Annual Tampa Pig Jig, a BBQ competition and festival that raises funds for research and finding a cure for the debilitating kidney disease Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and Nephrotic Syndrome. Tampa Pig Jig takes place Oct. 23, 2021 at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park.
Pig Jig Roast whole bean coffee will be available exclusively on the Buddy Brew e-commerce store this week before it hits Buddy Brew café shelves early next week. It will also be available at Tampa Pig Jig’s website. Pig Jig Roast is a blend of fresh specialty grade coffee beans from Guatemala and El Salvador. It has notes of milk chocolate and walnut, with hints of smoky spice and pecan wood. Supplies are limited and when it’s gone, it’s gone!
Since its inception in 2011, the Tampa Pig Jig event has donated millions to NephCure Kidney International, becoming its largest annual donor nationwide, and has helped launch more than 26 clinical trials.
