A team of 10 Buddy Brew Coffee staff members, including co-founders Dave and Susan Ward, rolled up their sleeves to help build bicycles at an onbikes volunteer bike build Friday, Dec. 3. Onbikes is a Tampa nonprofit organization that provides bicycles to kids in need, including children in foster care. The Buddy Brew team helped assemble 60 bikes during their shift. “We have been partnering with onbikes for almost as long as they’ve been around and they have a very special place in our hearts,” says Susan Ward. “The work they do aligns with our mission to do good in the world.” On Saturday, Dec. 11, Buddy Brew staff members came out in support of onbikes’ 10th Annual Winter Wonder Ride at Curtis Hixon Park, where they gave out free hot chocolate and brewed coffee to participants. Buddy Brew donates a portion of proceeds from Joy Ride Roast as part of its “Brew Good, Do Good” mission.
