Sourced from the breathtaking highlands of Nyeri, Kenya, this naturally processed coffee from Kangunyu offers a vibrant, refined cup with a story as captivating as its flavor. Grown at elevations of 1,800 to 2,000 meters, the region’s rich volcanic soil and cool mountain climate create ideal conditions for coffees celebrated for their brilliance and complexity.
Naturally processed to highlight its character, this coffee is fruit forward and layered, with notes of dried cranberry, the sweetness of rhubarb pie, and a soft chamomile finish.
What makes Kangunyu truly exceptional goes beyond the cup. Under the leadership of Magdalene Mwangi, this community washing station has become a model of both quality and meaningful impact, partnering with more than 600 smallholder farmers while championing sustainability, fair trade practices, and the empowerment of women within Kenya’s coffee growing communities.
