Grown in the remote highlands of Querocoto in Peru’s Cajamarca region, this limited release coffee showcases the vibrant sweetness and layered complexity that make Peru one of the most exciting emerging coffee origins. At nearly 2,300 meters above sea level, the cool mountain climate allows the cherries to mature slowly, developing exceptional clarity and depth in the cup.
Produced using a traditional washed process, this coffee delivers a clean and structured profile with notes of red grape, rich cane syrup, and soft hints of nutmeg.
This lot comes from Eduardo Llanos Linares, a second-generation coffee producer who learned the craft from his father while growing up immersed in the coffee groves. His farm, El Roble, is named after the native oak trees that shade the land and reflects his commitment to both family tradition and the biodiversity of the region.
Produced in small quantities with full traceability, this coffee is a vibrant expression of Cajamarca’s unique terroir and one of Peru’s most promising coffee-growing regions.
