Buddy Brew 'Bulls Blend' coffee launches at USF

New blend is now available in stores and online

This fall, Buddy Brew opened its ninth cafe — on the University of South Florida’s Tampa, Florida, campus. To commemorate the partnership, Buddy Brew created Bulls Blend, now available in stores and online.

The Buddy Brew café at USF is located in the new state-of-the-art Judy Genshaft Honors College, providing a dining and gathering space for students, faculty and staff, while complementing the building’s architectural design.

Bulls Blend is a unique, proprietary blend created for USF. It is a blend of freshly harvested specialty grade coffee beans sourced by Buddy Brew from smallholder farmers El Salvador and Ethiopia.

The coffee is fresh-roasted at Buddy Brew’s Tampa roastery in small batches, and has tasting notes of dark chocolate, citrus and creamy walnut.

“We are so excited to share Bulls Blend with the USF campus community and beyond,” said Buddy Brew Co-owner/founder Susan Ward. “This ethically sourced specialty coffee reflects our Brew Good, Do Good mission, as well as honors USF’s reputation for excellence, hard work and community service. Bulls Blend is available for purchase in whole bean at Buddy Brew’s ecommerce store (buddybrew.com) and Buddy Brew café locations.

Buddy Brew is also offering exclusive co-branded drinkware in-store and online. The USF café offers Buddy Brew’s signature hot and iced coffees, and a full breakfast and lunch menu, including house-baked cookies and croissants, avocado toast with poached eggs, and more.

Buddy Brew’s BOLT Cold Brew in Nitro and Original, is on tap, and also available in grab-and-go cans in a refrigerated case.

The café accepts USF Dining Dollars in addition to cash, debit and credit. Guests can order ahead on Buddy Brew's locations page.

Hours of business are 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; with hours likely to be extended in the coming weeks.
