Oct. 10, 2022
Tampa specialty coffee brand Buddy Brew Coffee has struck distribution agreements with the Boston-based Roche Bros. and Chicago-based Fresh Thyme Market.

Roche Bros. has 21 stores in the Southern Massachusetts area, and Fresh Thyme Market has 71 stores in 11 states across the Midwest. Both chains will carry four varieties of Buddy Brew’s sustainably sourced, fresh-roasted whole bean specialty coffees.

“Our ‘Brew Good, Do Good’ mission aligns with both of these natural foods grocery chains’ commitment to freshness, quality and customer service,” said Buddy Brew Coffee Co-founder and President Susan Ward. “We couldn’t be more pleased that Roche Bros. and Fresh Thyme will stock our popular roasts — we know their customers are going to love them.”

Currently more 400 grocery stores in more than 35 states carry the specialty coffee roaster’s whole bean coffees and/or BOLT cold brew coffee. Earlier this year, Buddy Brew struck a distribution agreement with Greensboro, N.C.-based The Fresh Market  to carry four whole bean coffee roasts in its 159 stores in 22 states. Florida Publix stores and select Whole Foods Market stores also carry Buddy Brew whole bean coffees.

Oct. 10, Buddy Brew announced that its ready-to-drink cold brew line, BOLT, will be distributed by Sprouts Farmers Market. BOLT is already available in select Whole Foods stores in Florida, as well as in Winn-Dixie stores throughout the southeast through a partnership with Southeastern Grocers.
